If you're googling "car rental no deposit Tashkent" — you're not alone. Hundreds of people search this every month. And every time they find ads promising "no deposit," only to be asked for money at pickup. Here's what's actually going on.
A deposit isn't profit for the company. It's insurance against accidents, fines, or damage. A car costs $8,000 to $30,000. Handing it to a stranger with zero guarantees isn't business — it's charity. No legitimate rental company in Tashkent operates this way, even if some advertise "no deposit."
Our deposit amounts
- Economy (Spark, Nexia III, Cobalt, Gentra) — 2,000,000 sum (~$155)
- All other models (Onix, Monza, Malibu, Tracker, K5, Equinox, Seltos, Sportage, Kodiaq, etc.) — 3,000,000 sum (~$230)
- Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Carnival — 4,000,000 sum (~$310)
Cash or bank transfer. The amount is fixed in the contract.
When is it refunded
Within 5 business days after you return the car. Why not immediately? Because traffic camera fines arrive with a 2-3 day delay. We wait, confirm there are no fines, and return the full amount. If a fine comes in, we deduct it and return the rest.
In three years of operation, 95% of deposits are returned in full.
What if I scratch the car
Minor scratches that can be polished out — we don't touch your deposit. Serious damage is assessed, and repair costs are deducted. All our cars have OSAGO (mandatory insurance), and some have KASKO (full coverage).
Can the deposit be reduced
Yes — for repeat customers, we lower the deposit, sometimes to zero. But for your first rental, a deposit is required. It's not about trusting you personally — it's standard practice that keeps our rental prices low.
